Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all Spring 2020 NYS 4-H Horse Educational Events have been cancelled.  More information to follow.

The following information has been supplied for those of you that have youth participating in the NYS 4-H Horse Judging Contest.

DATE: Saturday, May 9, 2020
TIME: 8:30 a.m. – Registration
9:00 a.m. – Event begins
PLACE: Animal Science Livestock Pavilion, Judd Falls Road, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY
PARKING: O Lot at the corner of Judd Falls Road and Campus Road
LUNCH: Bring your own lunch, snacks, and drink.
REGISTRATION: Register for 4-H Horse Judging

RULES:  PLEASE be familiar with the state rules that are published in the current NYS 4-H Horse Educational Events Rule Book. The rule books are posted to the NYS 4-H Horse website at:  Educational Events Rulebook.

CONTEST DAY HELPERS: On the entry form, each team is to designate one contest day helper.  We will need help scoring, room running, etc. and will recruit these people to help on the day of the event.

DEADLINE: May 1, 2020.  Registration for this event is online only.

LODGING: A limited number of rooms have been blocked at the Clarion Inn (formally Ramada Ithaca), 2310 N. Triphammer Rd, under “4-H Youth Horse Judging”, for the night before the event.  Call 607-257-3100 to reserve a room.

          The rooms must be booked by April 17, 2020.  After that date, they will be released to the general public.
